Management
structures and leadership are major challenges for
e-Businesses. In our view, while e-businesses need to be
profitable like any other business, the management and
leadership styles necessary for success in e-business are
fundamentally different to those that have been tried and
tested in Bricks and Mortar companies.
New
structures and leadership styles are in the process of
evolving. e-Businesses are several orders of
magnitude more complex than Bricks and Mortar companies. New
models of management and leadership are appropriate and either
need to be created or learnt.
For
example, an e-business may have most of its members working mobile
and across different locations. Some of them may be employees,
but most may be contractors. Managing virtual teams of mixed
employees and contractors and continuously adapting in a
rapidly changing environment, requires very specific skills
and high levels of personal development.
We
have a deep understanding of this process, and are able to
coach individuals and teams in the appropriate arts of
management and leadership, balancing business discipline with
